Historically, I’ve been a pretty lousy blogger. It’s not that I don’t have much to say, it’s more that it always seems to go to the bottom of the list. This may be the start of a different direction, or it may be my annual blog post. Hard to say.
In the interest of saying more later, I thought I’d say that I’ve been working my ass off on new pieces and let you know of a few upcoming opportunities to see some of them if you happen to be in the Crested Butte area. So, here goes…
ArtWalk Tonight!
I am represented in Crested Butte by the JC Leacock Gallery, and tonight for ArtWalk I will be a featured Artist there. I just delivered two new pieces to them, one pictured above, so come out and say hi and see some new work! 5-8 pm at 326 Elk Avenue.
Mobile Gallery at Wine and Food Festival
Shaun Horne of the Oh Be Joyful Gallery in Crested Butte is putting together a mobile gallery this Saturday, 7/25/15, during the Grand Tasting at the Crested Butte Wine and Food Festival. I’m psyched to be showing some work there.
Crested Butte Arts Festival
This year marks the 43rd year for the Crested Butte Arts Festival and I am excited to be included once again. The festival is from 7/31 through 8/2/15 on Elk Avenue. I will be in booth 72, near the intersection of Third and Elk.
Radio Interview
The Crested Butte Arts Festival picked a handful of artists to talk about their work in a series of radio interviews on KBUT, a great independent radio station here in Crested Butte. I was lucky enough to be chosen, and thought they did a nice job putting it together. Here it is, me talking about the American Prosperity series:
